Bitget became the first cryptocurrency exchange to add support for EVM-compatible addresses, according to the exchange’s blog.
Bitget users can use a single address across Ethereum, BNB Chain, Polygon, Arbitrum One, Optimism and other EVM-compatible blockchains and L2 networks.
“The market is rich with blockchains, which makes it hard for new users to navigate their technical aspects. Our goal is to reduce the time and effort required from users to carry out basic operations.
A further step toward that goal is the addition of EVM addresses, which greatly simplify clients’ interactions with the world of cryptocurrency,” said Gracie Chen, Bitget’s chief executive.
In addition, the exchange has introduced an expedited withdrawal feature. It will save users time by removing the need to enter a password and to receive verification messages.
Bitget is a cryptocurrency exchange offering spot and futures trading, copy trading, and P2P deals. The exchange serves more than eight million users worldwide.
Earlier Bitget integrated solutions from the digital asset custody service provider Copper and joined the ClearLoop network.
