Bitget and 0xConnect Girls to Host Pitch Contest for Female Entrepreneurs in Russia
The cryptocurrency exchange Bitget, in collaboration with the organisers of the crypto meetup 0xConnect Girls, will host Pitch & Slay—a pitch contest for female entrepreneurs in the blockchain and cryptocurrency sector with a prize fund of $5000, according to a press release.
The event is part of the global Blockchain4Her programme, aimed at promoting gender equality. To participate, applicants must fill out a Google form and meet the following criteria:
- A woman must be among the founders, co-founders, or top managers of the company;
- The company’s products or services must be directly related to the blockchain and cryptocurrency market;
- The project must be at least at the MVP stage.
Applications are open until April 15. The final stage of Pitch & Slay will take place on April 26, 2025, in Moscow.
Presentations should last 5–10 minutes. Videos, static presentations, and handouts in Russian and English are allowed.
During the event, the jury will evaluate each project and select the best. Winners will receive a cash prize of $5000 and mentorship support from Bitget and 0xConnect Girls.
“Blockchain4Her launched in 2024. During this time, Bitget has not only provided grants to talented female entrepreneurs but also actively supported their business development. We have held a series of pitch contests worldwide and decided to expand the initiative to Russia in 2025,” noted Bitget’s COO Vugar Usi Zade.
Earlier, Bitget summarised the results of the first year of the Blockchain4Her programme and also awarded women for their contributions to Web3.
