Bitget and Lionel Messi launch Blockchain4Youth educational project

The cryptocurrency exchange Bitget plans to invest $10 million in the Blockchain4Youth educational project. The face of the project will be the Argentine football star Lionel Messi. This is reported in the блоге торговой платформы.

Over the next five years, the Bitget Academy educational project team will develop blockchain courses and lecture in partnership with major universities around the world. In addition, in the coming months Bitget will introduce scholarships for young blockchain developers.

The first sessions under Blockchain4Youth will take place in May 2023 at the campuses of leading universities in Taiwan, Vietnam and Thailand.

The initiative targets millennials and Generation Z. According to Bitget, they account for 67% of cryptocurrency owners.

To promote the project, the exchange has entered into a collaboration with footballer Lionel Messi.

“Bitget and Messi are the ideal partnership on the field and off it. Messi’s Foundation helps children and adolescents in difficult situations, and Bitget strives to pass on to the younger generation valuable knowledge about blockchain and Web3,” commented Gracie Chen, the managing director of Bitget.
