Bitget becomes sponsor of the largest CS:GO tournament of 2021

The crypto derivatives exchange Bitget has signed a partnership agreement with PGL Esports—the organizer of the largest CS:GO tournament of 2021.

The PGL Major Stockholm 2021 was the first CS:GO major since 2019. The tournament with a prize pool of $2 million began on October 26 in Stockholm, Sweden.

“I believe Bitget is an ideal partner for our event. We are pleased to cooperate with reliable brands from a wide range of sectors,” commented PGL Esports CEO Silviu Stroye.

Gleb Dzhout, Bitget’s Head of Development in Russia, called the partnership with PGL “a good example of cooperation between the esports and cryptocurrency industries.”

“We not only support but also organize competitive games. For example, last month Bitget opened registrations for the trading contest «Kings Cup» with a prize pool of up to 100 BTC,” he added.

Bitget is a cryptocurrency exchange headquartered in Singapore. The platform has been operating since 2018 and serves 1.7 million users from 50 countries and regions, including the United Kingdom, France, Italy, South Korea, Japan, and Russia.

Last month, Bitget became a partner of Juventus Football Club.

To celebrate the partnership, the exchange is running a promotion on funding trading accounts.
