Bitget to host King’s Cup tournament with prize pool up to 100 BTC

The crypto exchange Bitget announced the third international futures trading tournament, the King’s Cup (King’s Cup Global Invitational 2022, KCGI), with a prize pool of up to 100 BTC and gifts from Lionel Messi.

The competition is timed to the FIFA World Cup in Qatar. It will run from 20 November to 18 December in three formats: a team tournament, invitation contest, and individual competitions.

Three winners in each activity will receive 10,000 USDT and an autographed Lionel Messi shirt:

• team captains with the most productive participants;
• users who invite the most friends;
• new users with the highest PnL.

32 teams with the largest number of participants will share fan tokens worth 30,000 USDT.

Captains must submit applications by November 20. Traders may join an existing team no later than 72 hours before the end of the tournament.

Users who invite friends via referral links will receive rewards from a pool totaling up to 260,000 USDT.

In the individual competitions, Bitget will award virtual footballs for completing daily tasks and predicting match results. The participants with the best results will share a prize pool of up to 2,000,000 USDT.

In addition, organizers will award 1,000 USDT daily to three random users with trading volumes of at least 100,000 USDT on the previous day.

“The launch of KCGI this season coincides with the integration of Bitget Insights — a tool for conveniently disseminating information about cryptocurrencies on social networks. We urge all users, but primarily KCGI players, to visit Bitget Insights in search of smarter trades or technical analysis, which will give them an edge in the competition,” said Gracie Chen, Bitget’s managing director.

Earlier this year, Bitget held KCGI with a prize fund of 200 BTC.
