Bitget to introduce mandatory KYC verification for customers

Starting September 1, the cryptocurrency exchange Bitget изменит требования to KYC-verification.

All new users will be required to undergo verification to access the platform’s services, including deposits and trading of digital assets.

Already registered clients must complete the KYC verification by October 1. If they do not, they will only be able to withdraw funds and cancel trading orders — creating new ones will be prohibited.

Earlier, ForkLog reported that the OKX exchange obligated users to undergo extended verification with document verification and facial recognition by September 21.

In July, the KuCoin trading platform introduced new KYC rules.
