BitInfoCharts: 95% of Bitcoin supply is held on addresses with at least 1 BTC

The number of addresses holding more than one bitcoin is steadily increasing. They hold 95% of the total market supply of the digital gold. This is evidenced by data from Glassnode and BitInfoCharts.

The number of addresses with ≥ 1 BTC has surpassed 820,000.

The Glassnode CTO Rafael Schultze-Kraft categorized the corresponding data by year.

On addresses holding more than one bitcoin, 95% of the market supply of the leading cryptocurrency is concentrated.

Smaller addresses hold around $16 billion worth of the digital gold.

There are 32.6 million non-zero balance addresses. The ‘≥ 1 BTC’ category accounts for 2.5% of their total.
