On 26 July, the ASIC-miner manufacturer Bitmain will host in Miami (USA) the World Digital Mining Summit 2022.

According to the statement, the company will provide a platform for discussion:
- the state of the mining industry;
- new investment solutions;
- air- and hydro-cooling technologies for data centres;
- North American energy resources;
- servicing and expansion of data centres’ operations;
- development of a mining pool to support the growth of the digital currencies ecosystem.
Industry experts at the conference will also share experiences of operating through a bear market, the large-scale deployment of hydro technologies, and other insights.
Among the participants are: Bitfufu, Core Scientific, Merkle Standard, North Data Holdings, Terawulf, Marathon Digital Holdings, Crusoe Energy, Hive Blockchain, Antpool, and a number of other companies.
In early July, Bitmain released the ASIC-miner Antminer E9 for mining Ethereum and Ethereum Classic.
Meanwhile, developers of the second-largest cryptocurrency by market cap intend in September to shift the main network to the consensus algorithm Proof-of-Stake.
