BitMEX to launch Quanto futures for Chainlink, Tezos, EOS and Cardano

The cryptocurrency derivatives exchange BitMEX has announced the launch of Quanto futures contracts for Chainlink (LINK), Tezos (XTZ), EOS and Cardano (ADA).

The exchange noted that the futures contracts will be traded against the stablecoin USDT, rather than Bitcoin:

“USDT pairs account for more than 60% of total altcoin trading volume. With this listing we are providing users with new trading options to better meet their needs.”

BitMEX сообщила that the Quanto futures contracts will become available for trading on September 11 at 8:00 UTC.

The listing of LINK will be the first case on the exchange of a DeFi-linked contract.
