The business will continue under the brand Bitwise Onchain Solutions (Bitwise OS) and will offer non-custodial institutional Ethereum staking services with a minimum threshold of $10 million. Additionally, Bitwise OS will explore opportunities in other protocols and engage in open-source projects.
“We appreciate that [Attestant] are the authors of important open-source projects such as Dirk and Vouch, and are involved in significant research in this field. This aligns with Bitwise’s approach,” commented Bitwise CTO Hong Kim.
Key Attestant personnel, including co-founders Shrijit Das, Jim McDonald, and Steve Berriman, will join the Bitwise team.
Earlier, the annual staking reward rate for Ethereum decreased to 3% compared to 7% in Aptos and 7.84% in Avalanche.
