BlackRock's Spot Ethereum ETF Surpasses $1 Billion in Assets

Just two months after its launch, the asset value of BlackRock’s spot exchange-traded Ethereum fund has exceeded $1 billion.

According to Nate Geraci, president of The ETF Store, this achievement places the investment product in the top 20% of over 3,700 ETFs available in the US market.

The past week marked only the second with a net positive inflow into ETH funds. According to SoSoValue, total inflows amounted to $84.5 million, with $58.7 million occurring on Friday.

The period began with a record outflow of $79.2 million, the highest since July.

By the end of the week, BlackRock’s ETHA approached the asset value of Grayscale’s Ethereum Mini Trust (ETH).

Both funds significantly trail the Grayscale Ethereum Trust (ETHE), which holds $4.5 billion in assets. However, the structure continues to lose volume, with net outflows reaching $2.9 billion since the trust’s conversion to an ETF.
