BloFin’s 2024: WOW trading tournament, philanthropy, and partnerships with Fireblocks and Chainalysis

In 2024, the cryptocurrency exchange BloFin partnered with Fireblocks and Chainalysis, launched the Heart & Hope Network charity initiative, and held its first War of Whales (WOW) trading contest, the exchange said in a press release.

Over the year, the exchange expanded its futures market to 466 trading pairs and increased spot pairs from 200 to 319.

“In addition, we introduced a range of innovative products to improve the user experience: a unified trading account that combines assets for trading on spot and futures markets, sub-accounts and Hedge Mode for professional traders. We also added support for demo trading to test strategies and the Passkey technology for passwordless login,” the exchange’s representatives commented.

They added that BloFin’s growing popularity was underscored by the WOW 2024 trading tournament. The event attracted 218,146 users from around the world. A total of 434 teams competed for a $1 million prize pool and reached 14.3 billion USDT in trading volume.

In October, BloFin announced the launch of the BloFin Heart & Hope Network charity initiative and integrated a cold-wallet system from the crypto-custody provider Fireblocks. The exchange also partnered with the analytics company Chainalysis to comply with AML/KYC requirements.

BloFin is a cryptocurrency exchange supporting spot and futures trading, founded in 2019. The platform will soon enable cryptocurrency purchases using bank cards and via the SEPA payment system.

Earlier, BloFin improved system stability and sped up access to key pages in the web interface. According to PageSpeed Insights testing, pages on the exchange’s site score around 60–70 points, exceeding Binance, Bitget and Bybit.
