Bloomberg, with Galaxy support, launched Solana price index

Bloomberg’s financial terminals добавили an index tracking Solana price movements. The data provider implemented this initiative with backing from Galaxy Digital, the crypto-trading bank.

“The initiative will allow Solana-based products to be registered in certain jurisdictions that require a global price source,” commented Tim Grant, head of the crypto bank’s European division, on the launch of The Bloomberg Galaxy Solana Index.

The instrument is denominated in US dollars.

Earlier in August, partners presented an index that tracks the state of the DeFi sector.
