The BNB Chain ecosystem has announced the commencement of a public vote on the BEP 341 proposal, aimed at enhancing the efficiency and security of the BNB Smart Chain blockchain.
BEP 341 proposes to increase transaction throughput through consecutive block production. The proposal also includes changes to the distribution of transaction fees to mitigate MEV abuses.
The vote will remain open until July 23. Users who have staked BNB through one of the delegators will be eligible to participate.
Earlier, BNB Chain announced its intention to allocate $900,000 to support meme tokens.
