The previous peak of 3.44 million was recorded in December 2023.

At the time of writing, the number of active users on the network stands at 3.1 million.

Over the past 30 days, the number of transactions on BNB Chain exceeded 500 million, a 151% increase compared to the previous period. In this regard, the blockchain is second only to Solana with 1.8 billion operations.

The surge in activity coincided with the market’s recovery following the crash on October 11. This was triggered by a statement from U.S. President Donald Trump about imposing 100% tariffs on Chinese goods.

What about BNB?

In the past 24 hours, the price of BNB fell by 9.7% to $1158. From its peak value, the asset has corrected by 16%, according to CoinGecko.

Technical indicators point to risks of further decline. The weekly Relative Strength Index (RSI) has entered the overbought zone. Last week, the indicator reached 81, and it has now dropped to 71.

Historically, such high RSI values have preceded significant downturns. In 2021, the drop was 70%, and in July 2024, it was 44%.

An analyst known as Saint noted that the RSI is in the overbought zone across several timeframes. According to him, this “indicates potential for price correction.”

The four-hour chart has formed a “double top” pattern. Its completion suggests a decline to the “neckline” at the $1000 level.

Some experts believe that BNB has growth potential, citing a target of $2000 as “not so far away.”

Positive factors include Binance’s compensation of $283 million to users and high network activity.

Earlier, analysts from XWIN Research Japan explained the reasons behind BNB’s growth.
