The list of dangerous apps and tokens is updated every Friday. It includes projects suspected of issuing counterfeit coins, charging high or opaque fees, or lacking activity on their website or Twitter account.

Also BNB Chain marks dapps that transacted through Tornado Cash.

Among the ‘newcomers’ on the list were Yeetoshi Minter Machina, LZ Swap, Expert Doge, Cash Cow Farm, Angel Nodes, Pinaki, Elvantis, Leech Protocol, Streamflow, OnlyBrain, BNB Daily Finance, XOP Project, TradeTogether, The Cake Monster.

The project team reminded users that they can independently check protocols on the DappBay portal with the help of the ‘risk scanner’.

In the first quarter of 2023, blockchain projects lost more than $320 million as a result of hacks and fraud, according to CertiK. The most attacked network was BNB Chain, where 139 incidents were identified.
