Boba Network to launch L2 solution on Avalanche network

The Boba Network team will launch a second-layer scaling solution (L2) on the Avalanche network. ForkLog has been told by project representatives.

According to them, developers will gain access to Hybrid Compute and Boba’s own NFT-bridge. The latter will provide “a smooth transfer” of non-fungible tokens between L1 and L2.

“By integrating into additional networks, Boba opens up new possibilities […], providing our talented developers with another way to make dapps cheaper, faster and scalable,” said Luigi D’Onorio DeMeo, Head of DeFi at Ava Labs.

According to the announcement, the deployment of the solution on Avalanche includes the P2E-project EvoVerses as a partner for launching the dapp.

In April, the Boba Network developers raised $45 million at a valuation of $1.5 billion.

As of writing, the TVL of the platform stood at $28.63 million.

In September, the DeFi protocol Sushi announced plans to deploy its products on the Boba Network.
