The Brazilian state postal service, Empresa Brasileira de Correios e Telégrafos, is set to implement blockchain and AI-based solutions. This was announced in a blog post by the agency.
“We aim to promote a collaborative and dynamic process for finding solutions in the fields of artificial intelligence and blockchain for our business, operations, and contract tasks,” the postal service noted.
According to the announcement, the modernization and optimization will include the postal address database. The service plans to develop a “digital identity” system and implement a loyalty program. Improvements are also planned for logistics and personnel hiring procedures.
A preliminary selection of companies and specialists with the necessary experience is open. Interested parties will participate in “structured discussions to explore various approaches and collaboratively develop effective and reliable proposals considering the presented requirements.”
Back in January, Brazilian authorities blocked payments by the World project (formerly Worldcoin) for financial incentives related to collected biometric data.
