Brian Armstrong Offers Former DOGE Employees Fast-Track Hiring at Coinbase
Coinbase CEO Brian Armstrong has extended an offer to former employees of DOGE to join the exchange through an expedited hiring process.

The initiative was prompted by a viral Fox News video featuring 22-year-old Ethan Shaotran, a former DOGE employee who dropped out of Harvard.
In the interview, Shaotran stated that he lost friends and status due to his work at the Department. He noted that the agency’s team “works without weekends until two in the morning,” and its mission is “more important than any university course.”
Armstrong went beyond merely reposting the video. He urged former DOGE employees to “help build an efficient financial system” and provided a link to an employment form. The job description reads:
“If your past mission is complete — let’s discuss the next one.”

Back in April, DOGE head Elon Musk stated that the department’s team is reducing government spending “by $4 billion a day, every day, seven days a week.”
