The beer brand Budweiser acquired the decentralized domain Beer.eth for 30 ETH (roughly $95,000), according to the crypto blog dGEN Network.

The company also placed on its Twitter profile avatar an image of a rocket developed by NFT platform Rocket Factory. The artist Tom Sachs welcomed Budweiser’s entry into the community.

According to the OpenSea marketplace, the NFT featuring the rocket shown on Budweiser’s profile was bought for 8 ETH ($25,000).
Representatives of the beer brand have not yet commented on the information.
Last month, a representative of Anheuser-Busch InBev, which owns the Budweiser trademark, told CoinDesk of the brand’s plans to invest in an NFT marketplace run by entrepreneur Gary Vaynerchuk.
Earlier the payments giant Visa bought an NFT CryptoPunk for 49.5 ETH ($150,000), fueling buzz around the project.
