Bybit and HTX Lead Russian Traffic in April

In April, Russian traffic accounted for 26% on the cryptocurrency exchange Bybit, 11% on HTX, and 5% on KuCoin, as reported by journalist Colin Wu.

Website visits to major trading platforms decreased by 8% compared to March. The largest traffic declines were recorded by HTX (-60%), Bitfinex (-41%), and Gate (-29%). MEXC showed a 14% increase.

The spot trading volume of major CEX fell by 12% over the month. The worst performances were by BitMart (-37%), HTX (-26%), and Crypto.com (-25%).

Derivative turnover in April rose by 7%, with MEXC showing the best growth at +55%.

Back in February, Russian users accounted for 29% of Bybit’s total traffic, despite a major hack of the platform at the end of the month.
