
Canadian company bought 3,600 ASIC miners to boost hashrate to more than 500 PH/s

The new equipment will increase the company’s aggregate hashrate from 140 PH/s to more than 500 PH/s.

Initial shipments of the DMG ASIC miners are due to begin in August 2021. The company expects the final batch of the order in August 2022, due to equipment shortages.

Wholesale pre-orders for the latest Bitcoin mining devices from leading manufacturers were completely sold out as early as November 2020. At that time, supply resumption was projected for spring 2021.

According to Luxor Tech, the seven-day moving average of Bitcoin network total hashrate at the time of writing stands at 140.67 EH/s.

Earlier in November 2020, DMG Blockchain Solutions announced the creation of the Blockseer mining pool, aimed at North American clients seeking corporate transparency.

In March 2021, the company signed a memorandum of understanding with Argo Blockchain to create an eco-friendly pool for Bitcoin mining.
