
Celsius Network releases detailed data on user transactions
The crypto-lending platform Celsius Network опубликовала 14,000 pages of data containing the full name and timestamps for all user transactions, including deposits, withdrawals and liquidations.
“This is a horrific breach of privacy that will lead to many robberies and murders. All that is not cryptographically provable will become public,” wrote a user under the handle 0xfoobar.

The Block editor Frank Chaparro explained that the company had filed several motions urging that sensitive data not be disclosed, but the judge rejected them.
“In any case, be careful where you store your funds. Your information may be disclosed during bankruptcy proceedings,” he advised.

Earlier in June, the crypto-lending platform suspended withdrawals, exchanges and transfers between accounts.
A month later, Celsius and some affiliated entities filed for bankruptcy under Chapter 11 of the U.S. Bankruptcy Code. The platform’s liabilities exceeded its assets by $2.85 billion.
In August, the U.S. Trustee’s Office said there were “numerous questions” for the company’s management. Earlier, the FT reported on Mashinsky’s involvement in implementing the Celsius platform’s trading strategy, which cost ‘millions of dollars’.
In September, the CEO presented a plan to rescue Celsius from bankruptcy, according to media reports. Later, Mashinsky left his post.
Previously, ForkLog reported that the company was considering issuing wrapped tokens as part of the restructuring plan.
The auction of Celsius Networkassets will take place no later than 10:00 (ET) on October 20.
