Chatex P2P Exchange Adds Tether Support on the TRON Blockchain

Chatex, a service for exchanging and storing cryptocurrencies, Chatex has added support for the Tether (USDT) stablecoin on the TRON blockchain. This was reported on the project site.

Chatex users can withdraw Tether via the TRON network with a fee of 0.5 USDT. The withdrawal fee for Tether via the Ethereum network is 15 USDT.

“We have decided to add USDT on TRON in response to the growing popularity of this blockchain among Tether users. Tether has issued almost 32 billion USDT on TRON. By this metric, TRON has surpassed the Ethereum network, where 30.91 billion USDT have been issued. Fast and cheap transactions have made TRON the leader among the blockchains of the largest stablecoin on the market,” said the Chatex team.

USDT on TRON is available in Chatex’s Telegram bot for P2P cryptocurrency trading, as well as in the Android app and the payment service Chatex Pay. The transaction fee on Chatex is paid by the ad creator. It depends on the monthly trading volume and ranges from 0.35% to 0.7%. The Tether trading fee is 0% regardless of the token standard. The service does not charge fees for transfers within the platform.

In addition to Tether, Chatex’s products support Bitcoin, Ethereum, XRP, Bitcoin Cash, Bitcoin Gold, Litecoin, TRON, Dash, USD Coin and TON Crystal. For storing cryptocurrencies the service uses solutions from the custodial company BitGo.

Earlier, in the previous year, Chatex completed the rebranding process. The service updated its website, logo and the styling of its social media channels.
