This innovation means developers no longer need to copy and paste their code into the chatbot, as OpenAI automatically sends it.
Unlike popular programming tools like Cursor or GitHub Copilot, ChatGPT cannot write code directly in the developer’s application.
The feature is available for users with Plus and Teams subscriptions, with support for Enterprise and Edu to be added later.

In October, OpenAI announced the launch of ChatGPT on Windows. Initially, the tool was available to users with ChatGPT Plus, Team, Enterprise, and Edu subscriptions.
ChatGPT on PC supports an advanced voice mode, allowing interaction with AI and receiving hands-free responses.
OpenAI is preparing to launch an AI agent codenamed “Operator,” capable of using a computer to perform tasks such as writing code or booking trips on behalf of a person.
