Circle to launch the USDC stablecoin on six blockchains

In September and October, the USD Coin (USDC) stablecoin from Circle will be launched on six new networks, including Base, Cosmos (through Noble), NEAR, Optimism, Polkadot and Polygon.

In the coming weeks, Circle will outline details of plans for a gradual transition from bridged forms of the coin toward the native version in each of the networks mentioned.

Thus access to USDC will expand to a total of 15 ecosystems.

Developers can already analyze and create an integration of the testnet with the stablecoin.

Earlier ForkLog reported that Circle is using $1 billion to strengthen its position in the ‘stablecoins’ segment.
