Co-founder of the Open Money Initiative Jill Carlson has joined the board of directors of Chia Network. This is reported by CoinDesk.

Carlson will help Chia broaden strategic partnerships and drive the rollout of the technology among developers, financial firms, multinational corporations and governments.

In 2019 Jill Carlson founded the Open Money Initiative, which studies countries with closed economies and collapsing financial systems.

She calls Chia’s approach an “alternative” to financial products that fail to meet people’s needs.
\n
Also on the board are Bram Cohen, the creator of the cryptocurrency, Jin Hoffman, Chief Operating Officer, Richmond Global Ventures managing partner David Fries and fintech technology adviser Chuck Stups.

In late May, Chia Network attracted $61 million and planned an IPO.
