Co-founder of an American tech company urges everyone to believe in Bitcoin
Eoghan McCabe, co-founder and chairman of Intercom, the platform operator for customer messaging, said he has finally come to believe in Bitcoin and urged everyone to follow his example.
I would like to announce that after years of dabbling I’ve jumped firmly onto the #Bitcoin wagon and would now like everyone else to do the same.

“I announce that after many years of dabbling I have firmly jumped onto the Bitcoin wagon and now would like everyone else to do the same,” McCabe wrote.
He noted that he first invested in Bitcoin around $100 in 2013.
“But I was simply speculating without conviction,” added McCabe.
Now he advised all holders of the leading cryptocurrency to “hodl”.
He did not state the reason for his newfound faith in Bitcoin, but noted that he found “interesting and fun” Anthony Pompliano’s podcast with Parallax Digital founder Robert Breedlove to be “interesting and fun”. Both are well-known supporters of Bitcoin.
Intercom developed a platform for messaging between businesses and current and prospective customers through its app, website, as well as via social networks and email.
McCabe was offered to add the ability to pay for the company’s services with Bitcoin.
“Unfortunately, the laws of physics for large companies state that between the moment when a founder thinks something is a good idea and when his firm acts accordingly, years pass,” he replied.
He also believes that Bitcoin is not yet suitable for this.
The proposal to convert a portion of Intercom’s assets into cryptocurrency, as MicroStrategy did after CEO Michael Saylor’s personal investment in Bitcoin, McCabe ignored.
MicroStrategy invested in the first cryptocurrency $425 million, buying a total of 38,250 BTC. Saylor’s personal Bitcoin holdings stand at 17,732 BTC.
