Co-founder of cryptocurrency exchange Garantex dies
On 7 February, the co-founder and a member of the board of the cryptocurrency exchange Garantex, Stanislav Drugalev, died. This was reported by representatives of the businessman.
According to them, Drugalev fell from a bridge onto a road junction in Dubai. Police are establishing details of the incident.
Update: entrepreneur Sergey Mendeleev stated that a press release circulated in the media from VINCI PR spreads “deliberate, non-existent facts and details of the tragedy”.
“The family of Stanislav Drugalev, as well as his colleagues and employees of his company, have not issued any official statements to the media. All that you can read in the media at the moment are the machinations of soulless people trying to ride out on Stanislav’s death, and the grief and sorrow of his loved ones,” he wrote on Facebook.
Update: The Garantex press service issued a statement on the tragedy.
“Stanislav was the lifeblood of our team. He knew how to unite people from all walks of life and consistently lit up their energy. This is a huge loss for the cryptocurrency industry,” said representatives of the trading platform.
Russian businessman Stanislav Drugalev was born on July 3, 1980, in Moscow. He graduated from Lomonosov Moscow State University, after which he engaged in entrepreneurial activity.
He was the founder and chief executive of Karavan-Telekom, and in recent years he launched and developed IT companies.
The ForkLog editorial team expresses condolences to Stanislav Drugalev’s family and loved ones.
As a reminder, in July 2019 co-founder of Yam Mining Alexander Marugov died in a car crash.
