Cobinhood Bitcoin exchange announces suspension of customer service
The cryptocurrency exchange Cobinhood published a notice of temporary suspension of customer service from 2021.
The platform’s management explained the decision by a desire to “provide more efficient services.”

“From January 1, 2021, initial customer service will be temporarily suspended. To contact the Cobinhood team you must submit via the form the original registered email address, to which we will respond to your comments and requests,” the exchange said.
Customers will not be able to change the password or the email address provided at registration:
“Because Cobinhood maintains a service policy oriented toward secure transactions, we will continue to prohibit customers from changing their password or the original registered email address in the future.”
The exchange did not specify when full operations would resume.
Earlier in January, Cobinhood announced a month-long halt to operations, reportedly to conduct a balance audit.
In May last year, users suspected Cobinhood of an exit scam. Shortly before that, the exchange’s parent company announced the start of liquidation proceedings — this occurred a month after the ICO had concluded.
