The cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase launched trading of the meme-coin clone called Shiba Inu (SHIB).

Trading, transferring, receiving and storing SHIB are available on Coinbase.com and in the platform’s Android and iOS apps. Earlier, the asset received listing on Coinbase Pro.
In response to the news, the price of Shiba Inu surged 35%, according to CoinGecko. At the time of writing the coin’s market capitalization stood at $4.5 billion.
In May, Ethereum co-founder Vitalik Buterin, who was the largest holder of SHIB tokens, burned 90% of the coins belonging to him worth more than $6.5 billion.
Earlier, a user earned $2 billion from 37 ETH invested in Shiba Inu. In September, Elon Musktriggered a price surge for Shiba Floki by 1,309% and Floki Inu by 139%, after sharing news of a Shiba Inu puppy at home named Floki. The price of Shiba Inu rose 17% that day.
