The cryptocurrency exchange Coinbase named the key technical criteria for listing ERC-20 tokens.

For listing on Coinbase, assets must meet four main criteria: verified source code, industry-standard libraries, restrictions for privileged participants, and a simple modular design.
The most important factor for Coinbase is verified source code. In the developer note, developers are advised to upload it to verified platforms, such as Etherscan.
The exchange also considers audits conducted, expanded documentation, compatibility of code with the latest Solidity version, and the availability of tools for vulnerability detection.
In July, Coinbase reported more than 35 million retail and institutional clients.
