In the coming weeks, Coinbase will launch a service to convert salaries into cryptocurrency. To this end, the American bitcoin exchange will work with leading players in the recruitment and payroll settlements sectors.

Get paid in crypto feature will allow all or part of a remuneration to be received in dollars, Bitcoin, Ethereum or more than 100 other digital assets. It will be linked to the Coinbase debit card.
Activation is possible in the Coinbase app. Alternatively, Coinbase staff can provide instructions to the payroll department of the client’s employer.
The service is free. Coinbase will earn revenue from the spread when converting fiat into digital assets.
The move reflects customer feedback, which urged automating transfers that take a lot of time and cause inconvenience.
Back in June Coinbase announced the Coinbase Card’s integration with Apple Pay. Earlier, US residents could use Google Pay.
