CoinEx adds withdrawal option to ruble-denominated cards

The cryptocurrency exchange CoinEx on September 16 added support for withdrawing Russian rubles to Visa and MasterCard bank cards. This was reported in the platform’s the blog of the trading platform.

The service is implemented in partnership with the Estonian payment provider Mercuryo, which has Russian-speaking support and complies with the international PCI DSS standard for credit card data security (Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard Requirements and Security Assessment Procedures).

To withdraw to a bank card you need to:

  • select the asset for sale on CoinEx — Bitcoin, Ethereum or Tether;
  • specify Mercuryo as the payment partner;
  • enter the amount to sell and confirm the operation;
  • request the withdrawal on the Mercuryo site after being redirected from the crypto exchange.

CoinEx — a trading platform with support for 625 spot and 57 futures markets. The crypto exchange is part of the ViaBTC Group ecosystem, of which the ViaBTC mining pool, the CoinEx Smart Chain blockchain, the ViaWallet wallet, and the ViaBTC Capital Fund are also part.

Earlier in the month, CoinEx announced that it was recruiting market makers for spot and futures markets, and also added 10 new cryptocurrencies to its financial account.
