The CoinEx Charity Foundation has partnered with the charitable arm of the Royal Melbourne Institute of Technology (RMIT) in Vietnam and held the first event under the “CoinEx Dream Grant” program, according to a press release from the trading platform.
The organisations also visited local orphanages, where they distributed school supplies and toys to the children.
CoinEx Charity was founded in 2022 by the cryptocurrency exchange CoinEx. The foundation runs charitable activities aimed at poverty alleviation and providing emergency assistance.
The CoinEx Charity and RMIT program includes providing financial support and educational resources to underprivileged students worldwide. The first Dream Grant was awarded to the wards of the Bo De Pagoda Buddhist temple orphanage in Vietnam.
“The scholarship will help the orphanage’s wards continue their studies at Bo De School, obtain a quality education, and look to a brighter future,” CoinEx Charity commented.
