The token-sale platform CoinList updated the daily issuance record for the Bitcoin-backed token Wrapped Bitcoin (WBTC). The company released 4,997 WBTC worth $57.1 million.
On Wednesday, October 14, CoinList also executed the largest transaction — 3,697 WBTC.

CoinList’s head of financial products, Matthew Duval, told CoinDesk that the company sees more balanced demand for the Bitcoin-backed token.
According to the BTC on Ethereum service, the total value of WBTC reached nearly $1.2 billion. Behind it by a large margin followed renBTC ($307.5 million), HBTC ($68.6 million) and sBTC ($27.8 million).
The combined market capitalization of Ethereum tokens pegged to Bitcoin stands at $1.63 billion.
In this market segment, WBTC accounts for 72.8%. RenBTC 19.6%, HBTC 4.24% in third place.
Earlier on 24 September, the crypto fund Three Arrows Capital executed an issuance of 2316 WBTC. Alameda Research, the parent company of the FTX exchange, issued a total of 4093.36 WBTC, setting a new record.
