For about an hour, the CMC team restored historical data. At the time of writing (14:00 MSK), the portal was displaying quotes correctly.

In Trust Wallet, which uses the CMC API, outages were confirmed and they stated that client funds are safe. The service interface is also используют Coinbase, Samsung, Opera and other companies.
Just a minor glitch guys. Funds are #SAFU. Price data from @CoinMarketCap is back to normal.

CoinMarketCap and Trust Wallet are owned by the cryptocurrency exchange Binance. The company acquired them in July 2018 and April 2020, respectively.
In 2019, an outage hit CMC, after which Ethereum led the ranking of cryptocurrencies by market capitalization, and users received notifications that Bitcoin’s price had fallen to zero.
In July 2020, the portal placed Binance Coin (BNB) at the top of the DeFi token ranking. After criticism on social media, CMC removed the asset from the list without providing an explanation.
