The transaction revenue of ConsenSys-owned non-custodial wallet MetaMask since the start of the year has surpassed $200 million. This is more than double the combined revenue of the leading DEXs SushiSwap and Curve, according to Delphi Digital.
According to a Delphi Digital, MetaMask’s transaction revenue has exceeded $200 million year-to-date, more than double the combined revenue of the two top Dex protocols Sushiwap and Curve. MetaMask charges 0.875% on each trade executed through its plugin. This is significantly higher than the fees of other decentralized platforms such as SushiSwap and Curve.
The number of monthly active users MetaMask exceeded 21 million. This is more than double по сравнению с августом and 36 times higher than a year ago.
When will MetaMask airdrop?
In the crypto community there’s chatter that sooner or later MetaMask will release a native token, conducting an airdrop among users. While there is no official information confirming this, however in November 2021 ConsenSys CEO Joseph Lubin hinted at such a possibility.
