Cosmic Wire raises $30 million from Solana and Polygon

The startup provides AI-based developer tools (SDK) for building metaverses.

Cosmic Wire also offers a range of blockchain solutions, including analytics services, digital identity, utilities for smart contracts and marketplaces.

The project’s core infrastructure will be built on the Solana ecosystem.

“Their SDK solutions significantly shorten the time to develop high-quality browser-based metaverses with e-commerce for digital products, CDN and payment solutions,” said Johnny Li, head of entertainment initiatives at the Solana Foundation.

Cosmic Wire said it would use the funding to accelerate the development of a more decentralized, transparent and secure digital ecosystem with a focus on privacy.

The project was also selected to participate in программы Google Cloud for Web3 development. The initiative from the search giant will provide Cosmic Wire with exclusive access to personalised resources, including credits for a two-year period.

In the second quarter of 2023, investment in Web3 startups fell by 76% — to $1.8 billion. The total number of deals also declined by 51% — from 659 to 322.
