Craig Wright’s sister forecasts Bitcoin price to reach $142,000

Lisa Edwards, sister of the self-proclaimed Bitcoin creator Craig Wright, predicted the price of the leading cryptocurrency to rise to $142,000 based on Elliott wave theory.

She predicted that digital gold could reach:

• rise to $90,000 by May 2021;
• fall to $55,000 by January 2022;
• surge to $142,000 in March 2023.

Edwards later expects a bearish trend in the cryptocurrency market.

“Satoshi Nakamoto did not account for supply and demand. In a closed market with high demand and limited supply, the price can rise in large steps, leading to substantial gains in short periods,” she wrote.

I’m geniunely curious. Wright has such strong views, I wondered how this sorts itself out.

Edwards said she hasn’t spoken to her brother for more than a year.

In a recent interview with The Times the self-proclaimed creator of Bitcoin, Craig Wright, compared the leading cryptocurrency to a Ponzi scheme. He is convinced that holders of digital gold will eventually sell the asset because it did not materialize as a means of payment.

In January 2021, Wright accused the sites Bitcoin.org and Bitcoincore.org of copyright infringement and demanded remove the white paper. A similar letter was sent to the payments company Square, on whose site a copy of the document was posted.

On February 9, Square’s lawyers demanded from Wright proof of authorship of the Bitcoin white paper, which he attributed to himself in 2019. In the same year, the US Copyright Office did not recognize Wright as the creator of the first cryptocurrency.

Earlier, on February 16, Bitcoin price again reached an all-time high above $50,000.
