Cristiano Ronaldo to launch NFT collection on Binance

Manchester United footballer Cristiano Ronaldo has announced the launch of his first NFT collection on the cryptocurrency exchange Binance, according to representatives of the platform.

The collection comprises seven animated statues depicting Ronaldo at key moments in his career.

An auction of the 45 most rare tokens will take place on November 18 on the Binance NFT platform. The price starts at 10 000 BUSD for a Super Super Rare NFT and 1 700 BUSD for a Super Rare.

A further 6,600 NFTs in the Rare and Normal categories will be sold on Binance Launchpad for prices starting at 77 BUSD.

Each rarity tier unlocks access to a range of exclusive privileges, including:

• a personal message from Cristiano Ronaldo;
• collectible signed merchandise;
• access to future NFT releases by the footballer;
• mystery boxes;
• participation in prize drawings.

The first 1.5 million new verified Binance.com users who enter the referral ID RONALDO will receive a mystery box containing an NFT from the collection.

Binance noted that through the collection fans will be able to learn more about the technology Web3.

“It is important to me that we create something memorable and unique for my fans, as they are a big part of my success,” said Cristiano Ronaldo.

New Ronaldo-branded collections will be unveiled in early 2023.

Binance announced in June a long-term partnership with Cristiano Ronaldo.
