The cryptocurrency bank Custodia (formerly Avanti) raised $7 million. The Block reports, citing a filing with the U.S. Securities and Exchange Commission.

The company did not disclose information about the investors and did not respond to requests for comment.

In March 2021, then-named Avanti, the startup raised $37 million as part of a Series A funding round. Investors included Binance.US, Coinbase Ventures, Morgan Creek Digital and other institutions.

The total funding raised by Custodia now stands at $51 million.

In June 2022, Custodia filed a lawsuit against ФРС for the regulator’s delay in ruling on the application for access to the regulator’s payment system through a master account.
