“The partnership will help Crypto.com’s ambitions to accelerate the rollout of cryptocurrency payment solutions worldwide by expanding the capabilities of the company’s Visa card,” the statement said.
The Principal Member status will allow Crypto.com to issue Visa cards in Australia directly and to interact with its users.
The company described Visa Crypto.com as the largest cryptocurrency-enabled card program operating in the United States, Canada, 31 European countries and the Asia-Pacific region.
Back in December, Crypto.com received the license to issue cryptocurrency-enabled payment cards in Australia.
