
Crypto.com signs sponsorship deal with the Australian Football League
Crypto.com, the payments platform, has become the sponsor of the Australian Football League. This is reported by FX Empire.
The sponsorship agreement also includes collaboration with the Australian Women’s Football League.
The deal marks Crypto.com’s first in the country, according to CoinTelegraph. According to the head of the Asia-Pacific region, Karla Mohan, the company was drawn by Australians’ interest in digital assets.
“Our latest customer research in Australia showed that more than half (53%) of crypto investors were women,” he said.
Earlier, a PureProfile survey showed annual growth in Australians who buy or hold digital assets, from 18.4% to 28.8%. The share of crypto investors among women увеличилась с 10,3% до 20%.
In November 2021, Crypto.com paid $700 million to rename the Staples Center as Crypto.com Arena. The venue is home to the NBA‘s Los Angeles Clippers and Los Angeles Lakers, and the NHL‘s Los Angeles Kings.
In September, Crypto.com entered into a sponsorship deal with the French football club Paris Saint-Germain.
