Cyprus foiled assassination attempt on Israeli billionaire and Distributed Lab investor Teddy Sagi

Billionaire Teddy Sagi, founder of Playtech and investor in Distributed Lab, escaped an assassination attempt in Cyprus.

According to местных СМИ, Sagi was targeted because of debts to Russian partners. In Cyprus, he faced a hitman of Azerbaijani origin. It is reported that the killer held a Russian passport.

Local security services managed to warn the billionaire about the planned attack, and he left the country. Cypriot media reported the arrest of the alleged killer.
