DappRadar to Cease Operations Amid Market Instability

“After seven years, it’s time to say goodbye. We have made the difficult decision to close DappRadar. Launching a platform of this scale under current conditions has become financially unviable,” the statement reads.

The project was launched in 2018. It became one of the largest analytics services for tracking on-chain activity, providing data from NFT markets to DeFi protocol metrics.

In the coming days, the team will begin the winding down process, gradually disabling blockchain and dapps tracking.

“As we leave, we do so with the knowledge that we did the right thing, remained true to our principles, and brought net benefit to the industry,” the team emphasized.

Information regarding the future of the DAO and the RADAR token will be provided by the platform’s team at a later date.

Following the news, DappRadar’s coin plummeted by 8% within a day, according to CoinGecko.

Back in August, the MEV protocol Eden Network announced its closure. The decision was due to intense competition in the sector and high operational costs.
