The token will help DappRadar decentralize the business. The service plans to pivot into a full-scale store of dapps. RADAR holders will be able to make decisions about the ecosystem’s development.
«Decentralization lies at the heart of our success, and now it’s time to take it to a new level — to make DappRadar genuinely decentralised. Community cohesion is the only way to stay ahead and remain successful in the coming years», — said CEO of the service, Skirmantas Januškas.
DappRadar supports more than 8,000 dapps across more than 25 blockchains, including Ethereum and Solana, with 4 million unique users per year.
In September 2019 the service raised $2.3 million in seed investments, and in May 2021 — $5 million in Series A funding.
Earlier in November, the Ethereum Name Service (ENS) project team announced the launch of the governance token and the transition to a decentralized governance model with community delegates.
On November 9, there was an ENS token airdrop for early users of the domain service.
