“In Spiritus, road tolls, parking, and passage will be payable on the fly using digital assets. The software will also be able to process banking transactions. While most cars depreciate in value, the built-in miner in Spiritus will earn money while charging or parking” — said Daymak president Aldo Baiocchi.

According to the executive, Spiritus will be more than a car. The company expects that by 2023 there will be a blockchain revolution, and cryptocurrency payments will become commonplace.

As a reminder, drivers of Fiat 500’s new electric car will receive KiriCoin tokens for efficient driving.

Earlier, Tesla stated that it suspended the sale of electric cars for Bitcoin due to concerns about the environmental impact of cryptocurrency mining. The option was introduced less than two months before this decision.
