• December 4 — cessation of operations of the cryptocurrency exchange Bittrex Global.
• December 7 — delisting of the crypto mixer token Tornado Cash (TORN) from the cryptocurrency exchange Binance.
• December 10 — inauguration of Argentina’s new president, a Bitcoin advocate, Javier Milei.
• December 12 — release of the U.S. consumer price index and inflation data.
• December 13 — the Federal Reserve’s meeting on the key rate.
• December 23 — the sending of a wallet containing Dogecoin to the Moon.
• December 25 — the launch of Japan’s first digital securities trading on the Osaka Digital Exchange platform.
