Decentral Games project secures $1 million grant from Decentraland DAO
Decentral Games, a project in the Decentraland metaverse, has received $1 million in MANA tokens from the governance DAO of the virtual-reality platform to create a USDC-ICE liquidity pool on QuickSwap, a team spokesperson told ForkLog.
Decentral Games is developing P2E-games for the Decentraland metaverse. The project accounts for around 60% of active users of the virtual world.
On May 20, the team brought to a vote a proposal to allocate a grant of $1 million in MANA to provide liquidity for the ICE-USDC pool on the decentralized exchange QuickSwap.
ICE is the in-game token of the ICE Poker poker room. The DAO funds are used to reward liquidity providers of the pool over the next three months.
“This is temporary support for the development period, the launch (July) and the ramping up of sit-and-go tournaments,” the proposal says.
Within ten days, the approved Decentraland DAO funding will be sent to the address of the Decentral Games treasury.
In March 2022, Dolce & Gabbana participated in fashion week in Decentraland.
